Shanel Hoek is a case manager who works with Front Steps Housing and Services empowering clients to reach their best self. Shanel started as an intern and transitioned into the role of case manager. She has previous experience working with individuals in the community experiencing mental illness and substance use disorders. Shanel is dedicated to helping those experiencing mental illness and substance use issues navigate systems and resources, while also instilling hope for a better tomorrow. Shanel holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and is currently working towards her Master of Social Work at Case Western Reserve University.
