St. Joseph’s Commons opened its doors in November 2020, at 2554 West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113. The one-room apartments come fully furnished and includes your personal key. The building features several common areas for residents and includes secured parking. Additional services and supports are provided through relationships with community partners & business. The 68-units serve individuals who are disabled and chronically homeless.  Homeless includes people who are living in places not meant for human habitation or are transferred in from emergency shelters.  Chronic homelessness is defined as being homeless for a year or more or having experienced at least (4) episodes of homelessness in the past (3) years, often accompanied by physical or psychological disabilities.

St Joseph’s Commons has a professionally licensed staff that will help protect your right as a resident.  Property Manager, Schanavian Adams-Luke brings nearly 20 years of experience in the housing industry and oversees a staff that includes:

Applying for Housing at St. Joseph’s Commons

Front Steps is a member of the Cuyahoga County Continuum of Care. This an extensive network of agencies that plans, organizes, and delivers housing and services to prevent homelessness, assist people while they are homeless, and help transition people into stable housing. 

Step 1 Contact Coordinated Intake

The first step to acquire housing is to contact the Cuyahoga County Continuum of Care Coordinated Intake Line.  You must call to schedule an assessment at 216.674.6700 to see if you qualify.

Coordinated Intake is the front door to emergency shelters for individuals and families with no place to safely sleep and who are literally homeless.

St. Joseph’s Commons accepts housing vouchers from Cleveland Municipal Housing Authority (CMHA) and Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
