After suffering from addiction and living out of her car, Leslie knew it was time to regain control of her life. She found her way to Front Steps in March 2011.  

Leslie was extremely thankful to have her own room and considered it a palace of refuge. She saw Front Steps as a safe place to work on herself with the support of others. 

While at Front Steps, Leslie realized she wanted to pursue a career that involved helping others and was ecstatic when she was offered a job at GoodWill Industries as an administrative assistant for their Work Experience Program. Since then, Leslie has been promoted twice and is now a job coach. 

Leslie lives in Cleveland and gives back to Front Steps by sponsoring several women going through addiction, sharing her story through presentations and serving on the Front Steps Board of Directors. She was an inspiration while at Front Steps, and continues to inspire through her work and volunteerism.
