Samara McCullough currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Front Steps Housing and Services. She is charged with the daily needs of the organization providing support to the residents, participants, employees, and other community stakeholders and is accountable for the operational areas. Ms. McCullough has over 20 years’ experience in nonprofit management as a Program officer and Director of Development. Ms. McCullough served as an Executive Director for a supportive housing organization in Pittsburgh, PA during the Covid Pandemic and brings a wealth of experience to this role.

Ms. McCullough’s experience includes leading property management, strategic/tactical planning, operations improvement, staff leadership, customer service, and program management.

A native from the city of Akron, Ms. McCullough has a BA in Political Science from Baldwin-Wallace College and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Akron. She currently serves as member of the Finance Committee of the Promise Schools Academy is a peer grant reviewer for SAMHSA and is the Founder and Board President of the Diaper Bank of Westpark. Ms. McCullough is the owner of Dance with Samara where she instructs social and competitive Ballroom and Latin Dance.
